The Slimfold Ultra frame when not being worn should only be stored in the case provided as no other design of case can function. The design and mechanism enables the spectacle frame to fold and collapse into the case very neatly.To achieve this, simply position the spectacle frame over the plastic saddle bridge block fixed on the inside base of the case and fold the temples by hand such that they are in a plane parallel to the front. Now push down the case lid until it latches to close. Never attempt to force down the temples by hand as shown in fig-4 as this may damage the mechanism. When the lid is opened by depressing the latch the temple positions are restored to the original state and the spectacles are ready for removal from the case.

LOCKING HINGE

The temples of the Slimfold Ultra have been developed incorporating a unique locking hinge mechanism .
The hinges lock automatically when the temples are opened. This ensures the frame remains horizontally level without twisting whilst being worn on the face.

SPRING NOSE PAD

The soft nose pads are fixed onto spring toggle wires enabling an adjustable and comfortable fit on the bridge of the nose.

ADJUSTABLE TEMPLE

( SF-7005, SF-7018, SF-7101, SF-2020 AND SF-2021ONLY )

The length of the temples can be shortened to suit individual face measurements by cutting the metal side core in steps of 4mm. To do this, first remove the screw seated in the plastic temple tips and gently pull off the tips. Using a wire cutter snip off the desired length and replace the plastic tip aligning the screw hole. Replace the screw and tighten.

             CAUTION

1. DO NOT BEND THE TEMPLE TIPS.
The temples can be shortened by cutting the metal side core.

2. BE CAREFUL NOT TO CUT THE METAL SIDE CORE TOO SHORT.
Cut the metal side core step by step to suit individual face measurements.

3. DO NOT APPLY SCREW LOCK LIQUID TO THE TEMPLE TIPS SCREWS.
Screw lock liquid may cause cracks on the temple tips.
